Competition law

We advise Swiss companies belonging to international groups, mainly in the luxury goods sector, in connection with competition law issues relating to the distribution networks they set up (vertical agreements).

We also advise Swiss companies in the area of potentially illegal restrictions on competition, which may take the form of horizontal agreements (in particular agreements fixing prices or the geographical distribution of markets). We have developed a particular expertise in the area of parallel imports.

Finally, in the context of the firm's M&A practice, we naturally advise our clients on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other forms of corporate activity.

The services provided by the firm include, of course, representing our clients before the relevant authorities.

Our practice includes in particular:

  • Advice on distribution agreements, including selective distribution
  • Advice on licensing issues
  • Analysis of horizontal agreements (price fixing or geographical restrictions)
  • Parallel imports
  • Mergers of companies
  • Representation before competition authorities
